For as long as she can remember, Uzma Qureshi has felt art quietly living inside her. She has always been drawn to color, texture, and the beauty hidden in the smallest details. Born in 1970, Uzma has spent her life observing how emotion and design can meet to create something that feels personal and alive.
In 2021, at the age of 51, she decided to give that lifelong passion a home, and Merali came to life.
Uzma’s journey is a story of courage and renewal. In a world where many still believe a woman’s time to dream passes with age, she chose to begin again. Her path with Merali reflects a deeper truth, that creativity does not fade with time, it grows wiser, more soulful, and more meaningful.
